Clare is an Engineering Geologist with twenty five years’ experience working primarily on railway embankments and cuttings. She spent nearly ten years working as a designer with Donaldson Associates Ltd. in Glasgow and York followed by fourteen years with Network Rail’s Geotechnical Route Asset Management team, also based in York. Clare has now moved to a Principal Programme Engineer role with Network Rails’ Eastern Region Regional Engineering team and is tasked with ensuring that the response to recommendations from accident investigations provide the improvement outcomes intended.
