Mark is a Chief Geotechnical Engineer who is the Market Sector Lead for Nuclear and Seismic Subject Matter Expert, with over 18 years’ experience working globally on a range of projects in the nuclear, defence, oil & gas, dams and building development sectors. He is an elected committee member of the Society for Earthquake and Civil Engineering Dynamics (SECED) and established their Young Members Group. Outside of work he is a qualified Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) Engineer and Operations Director for the UK charity SARAID; a trainer for the EU Civil Protection Mechanism; and a Classifier for the UN INSARAG.
