I am a chartered Engineering Geologist currently working for AtkinsRealis Ground Engineering and Tunneling practice. I studied Geology at the University of Liverpool followed by an Engineering Geology MSc at the University of Leeds. I am passionate about the applications of geospatial data in engineering geology and geotechnics. I have recently completed MSc in Geographic Data Science at the University of Liverpool. I undertook this course part time alongside my work at AtkinsRealis. I have experience on both large and small-scale projects for the Energy, Infrastructure and Development sectors. I was previously seconded into the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) for Anglian Water. I am a Digital Enabler in the Atkins Digital Ground Engineering Technical Network where the focus is to increase design efficiency through data management and digital automation. I promote the use of geospatial data within the business and am an experienced user of QGIS and ESRI packages. I have previously used my GIS knowledge to deliver part of GE&T’s “QGIS School” which aimed to upskill staff in the practical use of QGIS.
