Henry is an Associate and geotechnical team leader in the London geotechnics group at Arup with over 15 years industry experience. After completing an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at Oxford University, Henry has worked on a number of challenging basement and infrastructure projects located mainly in the Middle East and UK. Henry has an interest in deep foundations, repurposing existing structures, ground movement assessment, infrastructure protection, rail overbuild and delivery/ procurement of site investigations and has contributed to recent publications with CIRIA, IStructE and the Institution of Civil Engineers on these topics. Henry is a chartered civil engineer, member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, British Geotechnical Association, and a UK registered ground engineering professional. He currently carries out the role of chair of the Ground Engineering Magazine Editorial Board.
