Currently the geotechnical lead on TEAM 2100, John has leadership, design and practical experience on geotechnical and civil engineering projects from living and working in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Australia, Indonesia, South Africa and Jamaica. Projects include: shallow and deep foundations for buildings and bridges; basements, temporary works; earthworks; grouting; vertical drains; slope design for new, remedial and preventive works; pipelines; land and marine geotechnical investigations; assessments for tunnels; residue disposal and landfill civil design. In earlier years, he spent some time on community water engineering projects. He has been an expert witness including provision of expert reports, meetings with counsel and experts and attendance at court and mediation.
