senior project manager, KILO apron development programme,
Stephen's career started as an Officer in the British Army as an Apache Attack Helicopter Pilot for 10 years with multiple deployments to Afghanistan prior to joining Heathrow 5 and a half years ago as a Project Manager. His first projects were delivering resilience to Heathrow by way of Runway rehabilitations and taxiway widening.
Until the beginning of this year Stephen was leading the Airfield delivery team running a £350m programme of works across the airfield, including new taxiways, stands and their infrastructure as well as roads, stillage and airbridges. Stephen is aiding the transition of the Substructure project into delivery.
Stephen has now taken ownership of the Terminal 2 Future Baggage Programme, a 6-year programme of works looking at installing the new baggage system for Heathrow's newest terminal, incorporating major civil works and substructures as well as complex baggage systems and controls.
