James is a based in Stantec’s Edinburgh office, responsible for providing geotechnical advice on a range of projects. James brings over 22 years of experience within the field of engineering geology and rock engineering to Stantec. During this time, he has worked on a broad range of civil rock mechanics projects, in the field of energy, wastewater, transportation and mining at sites across Canada, United States, Europe and Scotland. James currently leads Stantec UK’s Geohazards & Rock Engineering Team and provides specialist technical advice on karstic geohazards, historical mining and is responsible for the Stantec Natural Cavities & Non-Coal Mining Database.
