Debbie began her career in marketing and business development in 1999, after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Business & Finance. In 2001, she joined the globally renowned BAUER Group, marking her entry into the construction and geotechnical sectors. In 2007, Debbie founded Jooce Marketing & PR Ltd, specialising in marketing, PR and business development for the construction and geotechnical industries. Today, Jooce works with specialist businesses and leading industry organisations including the British Geotechnical Association (BGA), Federation of Piling Specialists (FPS), British Drilling Association (BDA), Register of Ground Engineering Professionals (RoGEP), and Engineering Group of the Geological Society (EGGS). Debbie is passionate about helping clients raise their profile, build valuable industry relationships and win work, while championing women in geotechnics and construction. She is an Associate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), sits on the Editorial Board of Ground Engineering magazine, and is a keen industry networker.
