Bhagi is a Technical Director at JBA Consulting, where she leads the Ground Engineering team across the South of England and supports the Wales office. She is the Geotechnical Lead for a range of flood and coastal risk management schemes, working with clients including the Environment Agency, National Trust and local authorities. A Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng MICE), Bhagi has over 24 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, gained across major infrastructure and civil engineering projects in the UK. Her expertise spans retaining structures, earthworks, ground improvement and foundations, with a particular focus on delivering practical and resilient engineering solutions. Prior to joining JBA Consulting, she spent 14 years at Atkins, following earlier roles at Jacobs and Pell Frischmann.
