Paul Brown is Head of QHSE at Geoquip Marine, leading quality, health, safety and environmental performance across global offshore geotechnical operations. He has built his career in offshore operations and high-risk environments, progressing from operational and project roles into senior QHSE leadership. His experience includes emergency response and supporting incident command, which has shaped a practical approach to leadership, risk and decision-making under pressure. Paul’s current focus extends beyond traditional safety management into governance, assurance and how organisations enable better decisions at the point of work. He is particularly interested in leading indicators, learning from normal work and creating systems that support rather than constrain the workforce. Paul also contributes to the wider industry through international conference speaking, sharing practical perspectives on safety leadership, operational governance, emerging risk and the organisational barriers to good decision-making.
