Rob has built his career around the design and delivery of temporary works, gaining broad experience across consultancy, contracting and construction equipment. His work has covered a wide range of complex and challenging schemes, from retaining structures and scaffolds to temporary roofs, façade retention, demolition and below-ground works. Today, as Head of Temporary Works at Conquip Engineering Group, Rob leads a team of engineers and technicians delivering designs and innovative construction equipment solutions in the UK and overseas. A Chartered Civil Engineer, Fellow of the ICE and Chartered Manager, Rob is also an ICE Mentor and Reviewer. He is passionate about developing people, sharing knowledge and promoting sound engineering principles, with a particular focus on technical understanding, competence and continuous learning.
