Anurag Kushwaha is a Technical Director for Ground Engineering and Tunnelling at AtkinsRéalis, with over 27 years of experience in civil and geotechnical engineering across the UK, Middle East, Denmark and India. He has led the development and delivery of geotechnical solutions for major infrastructure projects spanning rail, highways, water, nuclear and energy sectors. Anurag is recognised for his expertise in ground risk management, earthworks, retaining structures and practical design solutions within complex Design and Build environments. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE), a RoGEP Adviser, and a Technical Authority for Earthworks and Retaining Walls within AtkinsRéalis. Anurag also serves as a BSI Committee Member supporting the development of Eurocode 7 through CEN/TC 250/SC 7. He is an active mentor and advocate for technical excellence, innovation and knowledge sharing within the geotechnical profession.
