UK Geotechnical Team of the Year - GE Awards 2021
This award is open to any multi-company collaborative project team involved in the UK geotechnical industry either on a specific project or as part of a framework on multiple projects.
The success of the project team should be demonstrated in terms of how the team culture led to improved project delivery, how the entire project team were focused on mutual goals and joint activities that highlight outstanding performance.
Entries should demonstrate how the project team stands out against its competitors and how its performance or initiatives between January 2020 and July 2021 have either boosted its rate of delivery or produced outstanding results.
The entry can come from client, contractor or lead designer, but must be supported by the client and other parties involved in the team.
We recognise that the Covid-19 pandemic might have had an adverse effect on some companies, initiatives and projects. We still strongly encourage companies and teams to enter this year’s GE Awards, as their pandemic response strategy will also be considered in the judging.
Key criteria:
- Demonstrate how collaboration contributed to quality of delivery
- Show how innovative solutions were developed through team work
- Explain how team culture drove value management and cost effectiveness
- Collaboration to deliver a performance that exceeded expectation
Each entry should be supported by a maximum of two images and one diagram. Images should be in landscape, more than 1MB in size, in jpeg/png format and should not be edited to include details of the category or the name/logo of the company entering (or any other annotations). Additional text (other than diagram annotation) included in supporting documents will not be used by the judging panel. The images might be used in marketing material and featured in Ground Engineering.
