Victoria is a Chartered Geologist (CGeol) and Fellow of the Geological Society, with 22 years’ experience within ground engineering. She currently works for design, engineering and project delivery company, BakerHicks, as an Associate within their ground engineering team, delivering work on numerous multi-disciplinary custodial and power projects. Her career in the industry started with an industrial placement in a geotechnical laboratory. After graduating, she worked for a Warrington based consultancy, predominantly within the highways, rail and housing sectors, before moving to Scott Wilson (now AECOM). There she progressed to Associate Director, continuing to deliver a wide variety of project types, alongside coordinating and managing the geotechnical inputs into large infrastructure schemes. In 2022 she won Geotechnical Engineer at the European WICE Awards. This is Victoria's second year judging at the Ground Engineering Awards.
