Vanessa Burton is a Senior Engineer at Aurecon, specialising in geotechnical and structural engineering. Her career spans in the UK and now in New Zealand, working on various projects internationally. She has worked across projects internationally, those mainly in the UK, Qatar, Australia and New Zealand. At the 2021 Ground Engineering Awards, Vanessa won the Rising Star Award and in 2019 was voted top 100 most influential women in Engineering by the Inclusive Awards and Financial Times. Vanessa believes that everyone has a gift and talent and finding your Ikigai to share with the world.
