Ursula has more than 35 years’ experience in the infrastructure sector with geological expertise primarily in Cenozoic and Quaternary deposits and processes. Ursula started in local government Highways but has worked for both consultant and government client teams on projects ranging from single buildings to large scale tunnelling (Crossrail) and rail projects (HS2), from conceptual design to construction phases. Ursula has been Chair of the Engineering Group (EGGS) and is Assistant Editor for QJEGH. Ursula is involved in several EGSP working parties with EGSP 30 Engineering Geology of Groundwater in design and construction due for publication in 2025.
