Tim has more than 23 year’s industry experience and has a detailed knowledge of most areas of geotechnical design and specialises in providing engineering solutions for complex urban projects within the vicinity of sensitive buildings or infrastructure. He Joined Robert Bird Group in 2015 to start up their geotechnical team which has since grown significantly and has projects such as Battersea Power Station, Olympia and 21 Moorfields within their portfolio. He is currently the Operations Director for the AECA (America, Europe and Central Asia) region which has over 260 staff and includes Geotechnical, Civil, Structural and Construction Engineering Teams.

He has considerable experience of using numerical analysis to solve complex ground engineering challenges and providing an interface between clients and the representatives of adjacent infrastructure operators or statutory authorities. Tim’s experience in this area has developed such that he is able to provide a service, not only associated with geotechnical issues, but can also represent clients on third party interfaces relating to the superstructure and long-term maintenance issues that encompass an entire project.
