Mehdi is a chartered engineer with 14 years of experience in Geotechnical world with a true passion for leading teams to provide innovative, sustainable and efficient solutions to solve complex problems. Mehdi is currently working in Transport for London’s Earth Structures and Geotechnical Team responsible for the design of new assets and remedial work for existing assets as well as responsible for the safety and resilience of the operation of their existing assets. Throughout his career he has worked in both conventional design and construction roles as well as unconventional technological advisory roles to some of the UK’s main infrastructure clients. Mehdi has experience working as a client, on site, and in design office (worked in Arup prior to TfL). He has also led projects in research environments, namely in Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction during his PhD research, introducing new technological solutions into geotechnical practices.
