Katharine Barker is an Associate Geotechnical Engineer for Campbell Reith. Katharine is a Chartered Geologist with a Master’s degree in Geology from Bristol University and over 18 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. She spent the early stages of her career working as a site engineer, designing and undertaking ground investigations for notable projects such as Crossrail and the Emirates Skyline. Katharine later moved into consulting, providing geotechnical expertise for a wide range of ground engineering projects, including low- and high-rise residential development, slope stability analyses and ground movement assessments. She is an active member of the AGS Geotechnical and Instrumentation & Monitoring Working Groups and is a founding member of the AGS Underpinning Focus Group.
