Joseph Kennedy is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Transport for London’s (TfL) Earth Structures and Geotechnical Team. He works on geotechnical projects across all TfL transport modes, with a predominant focus on ground investigation and earth structure asset management. He has recently been involved in early stage strategy and planning for ground investigations on Crossrail 2, along with major station capacity upgrades at Camden and Holborn Stations. He is also involved in geotechnical feasibility reviews and design projects for a range of small to medium sized projects. He joined London Underground in 2011 as a Geotechnical Engineer, having previously worked for a UK based Ground Investigation Contractor for over three years. He became a Chartered Geologist is 2015 and is a Fellow of the Geological Society and a UK Registered Ground Engineering Professional.
