Devji graduated from Kingston University in 2004 with a first-class Honours Degree in Civil Engineering. Since graduating he has developed his experience and technical expertise in specialist contracting. He started his career in the UK as a Contracts Engineer at Concrete Repairs Ltd before moving to Abbey Pynford. At Abbey Pynford he was responsible for the design of new piled raft foundations and ground improvement projects. Upon moving to GSS in 2012, he developed as a specialist in securing restricted access piling projects, pile design and the design of temporary works for multi-level basements. After completing his MSc in structural engineering at Surrey University, Devji graduated to become a Chartered Civil Engineer in 2015 and is an active member of the Institution of Civil Engineers. He is a STEM ambassador and a mentor with Ground Forum and ICE.
