30 years experience in the Civil Engineering industry with some of the industry's leading specialist contractors, currently technical manager of the UK arm of global geosynthetics manufacturer Huesker. Have worked on the detailed design and planning of schemes as well as marketing, tender submission and project management of reinforced earth wall and foundations contracts in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia and Oman. Actively involved in the implementation and development of geosynthetics having presented and published on the topic globally and currently serving as Chair of UK Chapter of the International Geosynthetics Society. Dave is co-author of the chapters on design and construction of soil reinforcement in the recent update of the ICE Manual of Geotechnical Engineering.
