Chris leads multiple geotechnical engineering teams delivering geotechnical designs through the design and construction phases of nationally and internationally important major projects. These include road and rail infrastructure, ports, tall buildings and deep basements for commercial, residential and industrial projects both in the public and private sector. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and provides technical infrastructure advice to governments and stakeholders. He has wide-ranging experience in the identification and management of site-specific ground risk through the entire project cycle under a variety of project procurement routes. Chris is actively involved in the technical development of the geotechnical industry to advance innovation and improve the understanding of engineering. He has also published and presented internationally on engineering design, research and construction.
